Marriott International has announced the conversion of six properties owned by SAMHI Hotels Ltd from franchises to managed entities, further strengthening its managed portfolio in key business cities across India. The transition, expected to be completed by October 2024, includes Fairfield by Marriott Mahindra World City, Four Points by Sheraton Chennai OMR, Four Points by Sheraton Jaipur, Four Points by Sheraton Pune, Fairfield by Marriott Hyderabad, and Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad.

By managing these properties, Marriott aims to leverage its expertise in global sales, distribution, and customer loyalty programs. With access to over 210 million Marriott Bonvoy members, these hotels are poised for enhanced visibility and revenue potential. Pranay Verdia, Area General Manager for Marriott International, emphasized that this move reflects Marriott's commitment to elevating guest experiences and building on a strong foundation with SAMHI Hotels.

Ashish Jakhanwala, CEO of SAMHI Hotels, expressed excitement about the transition, highlighting the strengthened partnership with Marriott and the growth prospects for these properties under Marriott’s management.

The Fairfield by Marriott brand, known for its value-driven accommodations, and Four Points by Sheraton, offering a balance between work and relaxation, will undergo upgrades to meet Marriott's high standards. Guests will also benefit from Marriott Bonvoy, gaining access to exclusive experiences worldwide. This transition reinforces Marriott’s dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences and service.
